What grades does CVCS serve?
A full-day preschool for children who are 3 by September 1, then kindergarten through 8th grade in three multi-grade classrooms: K–1, 2–4 and 5–8.
What is a multi-grade classroom?
Two or three grades learn in one room with one teacher. Classes stay small, students help one another in a family-like atmosphere, and teachers come to know each child over several years.
Who runs the school?
CVCS is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and supported by the Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon and Sweet Home churches and the Oregon Conference. It operates in harmony with the Office of Education of the North American Division.
How much is tuition?
For 2026–27, K–8 tuition is $5,900 a year: $491 a month over 12 months, $590 over 10 months, or $5,723 paid in full. Registration is $200 per student ($150 for preschool).
Is financial aid available?
Yes. Families apply through FACTS, a third-party financial evaluation system, and where applicable with their local Adventist church. Siblings receive 5%, 10% and 15% off for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th child.
Tuition and aidDo you follow Common Core?
No. Math, language arts and science standards are created by the Oregon Conference, the North Pacific Union Conference and the North American Division, from a Seventh-day Adventist worldview.
Our curriculumHow do I apply?
Fill out the online registration forms, send three reference forms (and the readiness survey for kindergarten or preschool), and we will contact you to set up a Student Success Interview. Most families visit first.
How to enrollCan CVCS support my child’s learning disability?
CVCS does not claim to provide a specialized educational program for students identified or suspected to have learning disabilities, and its teachers are not trained to identify or address them. Please talk with us before applying so we can decide together whether CVCS is the right fit.
Our policyWhat are the preschool hours?
Full day, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Children must be fully toilet-trained.

33610 McFarland Rd. Tangent, OR 97389. GPS may take you to the old driveway on Highway 34; the entrance is on the south side of McFarland Rd at Highway 34 (Andrew Lane).
Where do I find grades, the calendar and supply lists?
